The engine axles transmission transfer case changed out from a 1975 model. Engine was rebuilt and bored over 70 thousandths before installed in 1995.Engine has 11000 miles since rebuild. front axle has quarter turn warn lockout hubs. It has a 3 speed transmission and the 4 speed transfer case(4high 2high N 2low 4low). There is a full roll cage that is supported to the frame from under the body. The radio is a marine grade water proof radio/tape deck. This is a good looking jeep. Lots of stainless steel. Not show room condition however because I did drive the jeep and do a little 4 wheeling. After all that's what a jeep is for. |

The jeep is stock with the exception of a late model windshield, heavy shackles, power assist disk front brakes, upgraded intake manifold and ignition, power steering, tilt GM steering column, optima battery, aluminum radiator, and vintage wheels. Woody's 4x4 completed much of the finish work including engine start up and tune, power brake installation, all new wiring harness, and 100% inspection. The stock 304 was rebuilt by Portland Engine Rebuilders and has approx 2K miles on it after re-build. The floor pan and wheel wells were rebuilt with heavy gauge steel for significantly increased body strength. All sheet metal was taken down to bare metal and the entire jeep has been professionally painted a current Jeep Color (Red Rock). The inside of the jeep has been Rhino Lined for durability. |

V6 engine, T14 transmission, model 18 big hole transfer case, Dana 27 front end, Dana 44 rear end, original aluminum rims, and the spare the original tire that these Jeeps came with. Has padded dash, padded sun visors, rear seat, entry steps on both sides. Jeep has never been wrecked, rolled, or modified. Stayed in NC until the last year so been salt free. Body is very solid. This Jeep currently belongs to one of the owners of JeepBrokers.com. It has been meticulously designed, driven and cared for and performs fantastic whether it is on the highway at 70 mph, crawling up a mountain or driving through a swamp. Point it where you want to go and it will take you there with absolute reliability. I have owned dozens of Jeeps and this one is by far the most versatile Jeep I have ever owned or driven. No rust, no dents, no leaks, runs like a Swiss watch, sounds good, drives great and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. I really hate to sell this one but I rarely use it anymore and need to make space for the next project. This one must go to a good home. |
