This jeep underwent a true frame-up restoration in 2006 by the renowned Toyboxjeeps builders located in Daytona. Toyboxjeeps specializes in refurbishing Jeep vehicles, in particular all CJ Models. A Jeep from them will take over one year to complete and cost a lot more than what I am asking. The Jeep has spent most of its life garaged with only occasional trips to the beach. Since its rebirth, the Jeep has only accumulated 2,300 miles and has had no mechanical issues. The only piece that is not working is the clock, but who cares since this icon is timeless. Upgrades have been a professionally installed stereo, amplifier, front speakers with a rear subwoofer enclosure and lightly tented windows. No rust anywhere on this all steel body. No fiberglass. Still has the smog pump in place if you want to take it to California and I still have all the components to get it back to emissions standards for those states. I has a Weber carb with fuel regulator. Nice 35's with street legal bead lock look-a-like wheels. Brand new exhaust system. Original 258 that has been rebuilt and runs very well. This Jeep has not been completed very long and has never seen a mud hole. (Flat west Texas landscape doesn't have any hills to climb). This thing is ready to go, just add gas! The original radio has been taken out to reduce the appeal of stealing it and it has a hidden stereo in the console between the seats that locks securely have many more pics if need be just e-mail me. Top is a replacement, a Best, not shown but included is a spare tire & spare tire rack for the back & half doors, never been out of the box. There is no center console, if there was one originally it is not here now. I actually like it better without. I have a box of original belts and stuff for this. It was maintained in mind of being a collector vehicle. I hope someone takes this baby home and treats her right, she ought to be worth a lot to the right person. |

It runs and drives great. The motor was replaced not rebuilt 6 months ago. Since replacing the engine I have not bothered to put it back on the road. I drive it weekly up and down my street to ensure the seals and gaskets stay lubricated, (no leaks). The jeep was painted about 2 1/2 years ago and has been garage kept to ensure that the paint wouldn't dull over time. Pretty much everything on it is new or has been purchased within the last 2 years. New purchases include a tiger top, soft doors, rock rails, tube step rails, flood lights, jeep decals, rubber seals, rear seat. There is no rust on the vehicle. When I purchased it the body was solid and there was a spot of rust on the window frame. That was replaced shortly after purchase. |

Model: CJ-7 DescriptionThis is a 1981 Jeep CJ-7 with 84,000 miles. I bought the Jeep about three years ago. It has a 258 inline 6 with a three speed automatic transmission. I have put a 2 inch shackle lift on it to adjust for the new wheels and tires I have recently put on. The 32 inch tires fit perfect and do not rub. I have put a new gas tank and gas lines on the jeep along with new skid plates. The jeep has a performance muffler with dual exhaust out the back with tips that point downward. I also have just recently put new tube bumpers on the front and back. The rear bumper has a receiver hitch and the front has two lights and a 2500 lb winch on it. The soft top was put on new two years ago and has no scratches or holes. The stereo is all aftermarket with a amp and nice rear speakers. The maintenance has always been well kept on the Jeep and all the fluids changed. If you have any questions feel free to call me. |
