1992 Jeep Wrangler Restoration - Page 1
Our first project is a 1992 Wrangler YJ..........This is a Jeep that has had a fair amount of use, yet only has 60 thousand original miles and is still in pretty good shape. We felt it was a perfect candidate for a ground up project that would be simple enough to make some very drastic changes in appearance with some very basic upgrades and parts to give it a whole new life.
To get started we remove the soft top, doors and the interior to make things easier to access
Now we will remove the roll bar temporarily so we can get the old worn out carpet removed.
After pulling out the carpet most of the factory adhesive was still stuck to the floor. A couple of cans of brake cleaner and a few rags were all it took to get the glue removed and the floor cleaned and ready for the new flooring to be installed.
