Q. I already have my Jeep advertised on e-Bay and/or Craigslist and/or somewhere else and I am not getting a lot of response.  Are there any benefits in advertising it here too?
A. We are starting to get this question a lot and I suspect that it is because of the fact that the pool of real "buyers" is limited, thanks to the crappy economy.  In a "buyers market" like this, the sellers' need to be more aggressive than ever in order to sell their Jeep at all, let alone selling it in a timely fashion.  The more advertising you do, the quicker your Jeep will sell and that is the case in any economy, but in this market, exposure is everything.

Being the  creative and forward-thinking company that we are, we have come up with a brilliant and affordable solution for all sellers in this situation.  We are now offering what we call a "Multi-Site Jeep Ad".  Go here for details, but in a nutshell your Jeep will be advertised just as it would be for any other Jeep Ad on JeepBrokers.com (excluding the big pictures).  The significant difference is that the link on your JeepBrokers Ad will take potential buyers directly to your e-Bay, Craigslist or any other web-based classified site that your Jeep is currently listed on.  And all of this for only $10.00 per month!

Q. How long does my Jeep ad run for?
A. Your ad will remain posted on JeepBrokers until you tell us to remove it.

Q. Can I change or edit my ad once it's posted? Is there a fee to make changes?
A. Changes can be made to your ad at any time for no charge by submitting the form at this link...

Q. How do I contact someone at JeepBrokers.com
A. Any question can be answered by submitting the form at... http://www.jeepbrokers.com/ask_us_a_question.htm

Q. Why can't I make changes to my ad and post everything myself?
A. We want to make sure that all of the ads on JeepBrokers are posted with the same format and look.  This unique feature makes it easier for buyers to browse the ads, and ensures that we keep all the spam and non-Jeep related stuff off the website .

Q. When will my Jeep ad be posted on JeepBrokers?
A. Because we personally review and edit each ad to ensure consistency, it may take a day or two before we post your ad to the appropriate page (CJ, TJ, YJ, Cherokee etc.).  We usually have ads posted within 24 hours.

Q. I am getting emails from people overseas that want to buy my Jeep "sight unseen" for either themselves or for one of their clients.  What should I do?
A. Go to the following link on our website:

What is my Jeep worth?

Q. What is my Jeep worth?

This is by far the most common question that we get asked.  It is also the most difficult one to answer, especially without being able to see or drive your Jeep. The answer that I always want to give to that question is..."your Jeep is worth exactly what the buyer is willing to pay for it and not a penny more".  Although a smart-ass answer, it is also very true and there are no 2 buyers that share the exact same desires, expectations, values and taste.  There is no such thing as a right or wrong price for any used vehicle, especially Jeeps.  The variables that influence the value of a used Jeep are extensive and include everything from the obvious such as; mechanical condition, mileage and aftermarket accessories to the harder-to-benchmark factors like geographic location, economy and time of the year.  There is no doubt that the best way to get top dollar for your Jeep is to promote it to the hard core Jeep enthusiasts...and that is where we come into play.  Since 1996, JeepBrokers.com has become the premier website for selling mid to upper end Jeeps.  I feel that the best way to determine a fair market value for a used Jeep is to compare it to similar Jeeps that have recently sold in your region as well as evaluating it against similar Jeeps that are currently on the market for sale.  Basically, the same way that Realtors determine the asking price of a home.  Researching the asking price for current Jeeps for sale is easy but finding the stats for Jeeps that have recently been sold and are no longer posted is a little more challenging.  Fortunately, we have retained the stats (asking price, Jeep specs and the actual selling price) for all of the hundreds of Jeeps that have sold on our websites for the past 5 years.  Unfortunately, we have not yet had the time to sort through them all and get the details posted.  Go to the "Jeeps we have sold" section of our website to see what we have been able to post so far and check back soon because this is one of the projects that we are diligently working on right now.  You can also check out our current Jeeps for sale ads and see what other folks are asking for similar Jeeps to yours.

Personally, I do not feel that Kelley Blue Book is a very accurate representation of "fair market value" for collector-type auto's such as Jeeps, but many people do, so you should at least know what the Blue Book value of your Jeep is.  Edmunds.com has a similar valuation calculator but I found them to be way off from reality, but again, that is just my own personal opinion.
